博士毕业去干这个是浪费，本来博士和dipom master出来干的就应该不一样
堆代码这种东西还读博。。不是浪费嘛

楼主说得是！
1。 优化算法是PHD Computer 的终极出路，要不然PHD 不白念了？再说和Bachelor,Master的年轻人也竞争不过。
2。楼主的方向已经偏向了"生物“，这就很好。门槛高，其它人很难进来。 补充一点，我不算是纯粹的计算机博士生，本科学的是生物，硕士是计算机专业，现在搞的是Computational Biology, i.e, Bioinformatics， 偏向于算法设计方面。现在流行的C#, .NET, SAP我都不会，我用得最多只是Python和C++, 工作环境是Linux。
我更想进的是生物制药公司，像Merck, Pfizer,Bayer之类的大公司的R&D 部门。可是这个方向德国这边没有多少的opening positions。
