Research on Supply Chain Security from the Perspective of the “Belt and Road”
Abstract: Effective protection of supply chain security is a new requirement to promote the high-quality development of the “Belt and Road” . By analyzing the development history and main experiences of the supply chain security system of the United States and the European Union, and combining the risk characteristics of the supply chain of the “Belt and Road”, it helps to build a security framework for the supply chain of the “Belt and Road”. To ensure the security of supply chain of the “Belt and Road”, we should start from the multilateral level, regional level and domestic level. At the multilateral level, we should promote the inclusion of supply chain trade in the World Trade Organization and use the dispute settlement mechanism to reveal the illegality of U.S. and European supply chain measures. At the regional level, we should take the signing of RCEP as an opportunity to further strengthen the supply chain in the region and reduce the dependence on European and American products and markets. At the domestic level, measures include accelerating the enactment of emergency laws to enhance the capacity and efficiency of emergency response and thus strengthen the resilience of supply chains.
